- How far in advance should I place my order?
- We recommend ordering at least 3 months in advance.
- Can I send a reference design?
- Yes! You can send us photos for inspiration, but we always customize each creation with our own unique style.
- What kind of cakes do you offer?
- We work exclusively with moist Puerto Rican sponge cakes, with or without filling. We don't make American-style sponge cakes, as we specialize in maintaining the traditional flavor and texture that characterizes us so much.
- How do I reserve my date?
- Your order is reserved once the required deposit is made. Without a deposit, availability is not guaranteed.
- Do you make vegan, sugar-free, or gluten-free cakes?
- Yes! At Fancy Halo by Nixalee, we make vegan, sugar-free, and gluten-free cakes. Just request this when placing your order, and we'll make sure to customize them to your needs. Don't hesitate to contact us for more details!
- What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept the following payment methods: ATH Móvil in the name of FancyHaloByNixalee, credit card, and cash. Please note that we do not accept checks under any circumstances.
- How long is a quote valid?
- Quotes are valid for 7 calendar days from the date they are submitted. After this time, if the order has not been confirmed, it must be quoted again, as prices and availability may vary.
Service Policies - Fancy Halo Weddings
- Reservation
- All orders require a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit to reserve the date.
- Dates are only confirmed when the deposit is received.
- It is recommended to complete the form at least 3 months in advance, subject to availability.
- Designs and Changes
- You can share ideas, references, or color palettes, but each cake is creatively interpreted in the Fancy Halo by Nixalee style.
- Design changes must be requested at least 7 days in advance and approved by Fancy Halo by Nixalee.
- Changes made after the contract has expired may incur an additional cost.
- Type of Cake
- All our cakes are Puerto Rican and moist, with or without filling.
- We do not work with American-style cakes.
- We offer vegan, sugar-free, and gluten-free options upon request and availability.
- Alergias
- Our products may contain or have been in contact with: nuts, wheat, soy, dairy and egg
- Fancy Halo by Nixalee is not responsible for allergic reactions.
- Assembly and Coordination
- If the cake is to be delivered to an outside salon, coordinator, or decorator, it is the client's responsibility to ensure that an authorized person is present to receive it.
- Fancy Halo by Nixalee will leave the assembled cake on the designated cake table, but will not be responsible for decorating or setting up the table (flowers, signs, decorations, etc.).
- Once delivered and placed on the table, Fancy Halo by Nixalee is not responsible for subsequent damage.
- If the installation requires equipment rental (bases, structures, etc.), its return must be coordinated on the established date.
- Equipment not returned on time will incur an additional charge of $10 per day.
- Delivery
- We offer deliveries throughout the island.
- At Fancy Halo by Nixalee, delivery is included in the price of your cake. We personally take care of every detail to ensure your cake arrives in perfect condition and is presented with the care it deserves.
- Payments
- The final balance must be paid in full before or upon delivery or pickup of the cake.
- We accept: ATH Móvil, credit/debit cards, and cash.
- No se aceptan cheques bajo ninguna circunstancia.
- Cancellations
- Cancellations made the day before or on the day of the wedding are not eligible for a refund. The order will be fulfilled and must be paid in full.
